Born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina by a family which included a very successful real estate mother Barry Aldridge finally decided to follow in her footsteps and is now a 21 year veteran REALTOR who has helped hundreds of families achieve their dream of home ownership! In addition to building his new franchise Realty ONE Group Select Barry is a fully licensed NC & SC real estate broker who started his real estate career and honed his craft in the mountains of NC working for RE/MAX Keller Williams and other private firms as well as one other firm he owned. In the past he has served as a board member and President-Elect of the local Board of REALTORS and served as Broker In Charge (BIC) for 2 different real estate offices.

Barry's strongest traits and talents revolve around people both understanding and knowing how to manage them and encouraging them to achieve great things. Barry's sincere desire to help others is what he will tell you is his secret to success! He says to almost everyone he gets the chance "If you help enough people reach their goals you will succeed in life period." Barry believes that real estate is all about helping others and building relationships!

Barry has a lovely wife Dawn five daughters and two grandchildren! He has been singing since he was born according to those who have known him that long, and is an active participant in Community Theater productions especially musicals! He has appeared in many productions such as The King and I A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum Camelot Oliver and his crowning achievement was when he was cast as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Barry also loves to play golf and is the President of High Meadows Country Club.
